Kaushik Sengupta is a multifaceted professional with a distinguished background in experimental particle physics and software engineering. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from Jadavpur University and post-doctoral training at SUNY Buffalo and Louisiana State University. He began his career as a researcher, collaborating with NASA and international scientists on high-energy particle physics experiments. His academic pursuits extended to teaching physics at the university level in India. A passionate science communicator, Kaushik authored Are We Alone? Humankind’s Search for Extraterrestrial Civilizations, exploring the scientific and philosophical quest for extraterrestrial life.
