Professor Dipankar Home, Chief Editorial Advisor of Curiosita, is an eminent Indian theoretical physicist who has been a Senior Scientist, National Academy of Sciences India, associated with the Bose Institute, Kolkata. In India, from the early 1980s, he has been involved in pioneering research work on foundational issues of Quantum Mechanics and their experimentally oriented studies, having ramifications in Quantum Information, and is internationally well known for his various fundamental contributions, a number of which have been experimentally tested, unravelling novel features of Quantum Mechanics discussed on his website. He has authored two much-acclaimed research-level books, Conceptual Foundations of Quantum Physics (Plenum, 1997), and Einstein’s Struggles with Quantum Theory (Springer, 2007) with A. Whitaker, the respective Forewords to which have been written by Nobel laureates Anthony Leggett and Roger Penrose.  He is currently involved in cutting-edge theory-experimental collaborative quantum research programmes with physicists at University College London, Raman Research Institute, Bangalore, as well as is a visiting scientist at Wilczek Quantum Centre, Shanghai, China.
